Liposuction may be one of the most effective means of getting rid of excess fat but it can also be quite painful, time-consuming and expensive, which is why many look for less invasive alternatives, one of which is Lipo Dissolve.
What Is Lipo Dissolve?
Lipo Dissolve, which is also referred to as mesotherapy, is a treatment wherein various chemicals are injected into the fatty deposits under the skin in order to dissolve them. These chemicals include:
- phosphatidylcholine – an extract from the membranes of plant and animal tissues, such as from soybeans or egg yolk
- deoxycholate – a secondary bile acid
- alpha lipoic acid – antioxidant that helps convert glucose into energy
- multivitamins
- enzymes
- hormones
- other plant extracts
The number of injections required depends on the size of the area and the number of areas to be treated, though these all use very small needles to minimize pain. Like liposuction, Lipo Dissolve can remove fat from various areas of the body such as:
- upper and lower abdominal areas
- around the waist and hips
- thighs
- legs and knees
- back
- lower arms
- chin and neck
- middle part of the face, such as the cheeks or below the eyes
Lipo Dissolve Results
Lipo Dissolve has been proven successful in many cases, especially in getting rid of extra fat around the belly and reducing the waistline. Often, a total of four sessions is required, with the sessions being a month apart. No downtime is required.
The results, though, vary from case to case. The best candidates for Lipo Dissolve are those with just small pockets of fat and like liposuction, is not intended as a shortcut to weight loss.
Is Lipo Dissolve Safe?
The main issue about Lipo Dissolve is its safety. Many doctors are wary of the fact that it uses a combination of chemicals and that there is no standard regarding this combination, comparing it to a chemical cocktail in a syringe.
The recorded side effects, though, are mild in comparison to those of liposuction – only a small amount of pain, bruising, soreness of the injection site and swelling that goes away completely in a week or less.
Lipo Dissolve Cost
A single session of Lipo Dissolve costs between $300 to $1000 for a single area. It is not covered by medical insurance.
Indeed, compared to liposuction, Lipo Dissolve is cheaper and does not come with as much discomfort. To know which one you should go for, though, make sure you do a lot of research and take a look at liposuction before and after pictures as well as those of Lipo Dissolve to compare results.
